Sublime new album from the drone / dark ambient legend. As a project commissioned for Cold Spring, 'Stealth' presents itself as an exploration of sounds neither here nor there, textures camouflaged against their own background noise, and the distant crackling telemetric code-speak of a vague humanity hidden behind a cloak of deadly high-technology. Comprising of five deeply-layered extended tracks, mixed and edited from re-sampled location source material, originally captured inside the hangar environs of a Northrop-Grumman B-2 Stealth Bomber, during a period of downtime maintenance at a U.S.
A mix about half-sleep, lucid dreaming impressions ungraspable images and about “letting go”. After all, Mr. Robot's tagline was “Control is an Illusion”. Top selection. I can strongly recommend Nostromo by Sleep Research Facility- an ambient/drone concept album based on the first 20 mins of the film Alien. Also Planetary Unfolding by Michael Stearns- it's 70s/80s sci-fi airbrush art in audio form.

I have a somewhat eclectic choice of music, here are some of the ones that come to mind:.Kitaro - This guys music is perfect for exploration. Specifically when on a planet surface.Ayreon - Super proggy and the storylines are brilliant too. Good if you want something a little more engaging than just background music.
(Check out another of Arjen's projects 'Star One' for equally good prog. But space based.).65 Days of Static - Good combat music, their newer stuff is much more structured. It's all good though.Postmodern Jukebox - I don't know why, but smooth lounge covers of 21st century pop music feels right. Gives me kind of a firefly vibe when I'm salvaging for some reason.Infected Mushroom - Solid Psytrance that just screams 'Chaos in Space'.The Sword/Clutch - For when ass needs kicked.

(Symphony X works well for this too.).Baroness - CZ music, rolling heavy tunes that really adds to the carnage, with the occasional dash of ambient tomfoolery.Nightcore - I don't know if it because it makes me subconsciously angry or what, but this abominable genre of music is one I keep coming back to when PvPing.Go ahead.
