Installing Printer On Windows Server 2008 R2 Rating: 3,2/5 1893 reviews

While installing printer pro 9010 to windows server 2008 enterprise R2 SP1, installer responds operating system is not supported! Disappointing and astonishing, no clue to work this around.

Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise

Camp rock 2 google drive. Printer works fine with driver that came with windows server iso image. On, it looks like the pro 9010 is not supported by server 2008 -whenever I try to install it the detected OS is displayed as to be windows 7, I did forcedly change to server 2008 R2, no chance to go any further other than downloading the installer and get stuck over again.- I installed the printer on windows 8.1 machine, works fine, also works fine on CentOS7 with hplip on dual bootable server machine.

Open Server Manager, go to Tools, and then go to Print Management. Right-click Print Management to invoke the contextual menu and choose the “Migrate Printer” option. Then follow these steps: How To Migrate Printers From Windows 2008 to 2012 R2. Select “Export printer queues and printer drivers to a file.” Then click Next.

Why a pro driver cannot work with a pro OS? I neet the printer working to full throttle for small business.Added: cannot install a driver for different printer whatever, from the downloaded package, the installer crashes and keeps on searching the printer, no chance to select a different driver, cannot reach that step, all looks to run automatically. To clarify, the printer should work on server 2008 R2, as clearly listed on its specifications.Installing the printer via the Command Line should be the correct method to install this type of printer. You may find its specifications below, see the Compatible Operating Systems section- Although I originally referred to the MSIEXEC command line usage, have you tried the IT Professional Use only solution? Either by double-clicking its Setup.exe file or by using it as the installation source while using the MSIEXEC command line?As a reference see its driver page below with its description:You may also check the IT Administrator Guide below for detailed information about installing the printer on a server:Additionally, ensure the Desktop Ex perience feature is installed on your server, it must be enabled for a successful USB or Network installation on 2008 R2Shlomi.
